Lights with built in switches. Wall Lights and spotlights with switches or pull cords.
Wall Lights, spotlights and bedside wall lights often have to be switched. Sometimes it's nice to be able to switch lights separately on and off if you have lots of them. Sometimes the way the room has been wired means that wall lights have to be switched from the light itself. This is because there is a permanent live feed and no wall switch to use, meaning the wall light, spot lights, need to be switched from the light itself.
In the past all switches were pull cord switches but now smaller neater switches called rocker switches are used on lights. Often these are so neat you cannot even notice them on the lights. The little switches are often mounted on the side of fittings, for that reason we have a section of lights for wall and bedside lights all in one section of switched lights.
