Copper lights that are made in solid copper have a wonderful opportunity to change with age. If you polish them, the vibrant sheen that copper produces will last forever. If you like the look of aged copper, oxidisation will produce a greenish tinge, much like you see on the statue of liberty. This adds a sense of history that is perfect with traditional style lights, especially outside lighting.
