No matter the size, all business are audited and both announced and unannounced spot checks are carried out for additional peace of mind.
Where possible, care is taken to invest and source items and components within the UK to minimise carbon footprint.
Touched by Humans:
Whilst there are benefits from some mass production techniques, we still appreciate things that are handmade, or hand finished.
Lights that are hand touched by Artisans have a unique tactility that demands a second look. The India Collection by the Lighting Book are handmade in small batches. They are generally made from mouthblown glass and metals using techniques for finishes that could not be replicated by machine.
The Lighting Book also has a range of lights that are handmade in Portugal, where ceramic art is a rich part of its history. Time honoured techniques that have been passed down through generations ensures each light is a unique work of art.
You are the person this lighting is made for. Quality lights with ethical assurance have been lovingly and carefully created for you. It’s just one more great reason that Lighting and Lights should be your number one choice for lighting every time.

So, great lighting?
Lighting with an environmental conscience?
Lights that conform above and beyond the minimum to give you peace of mind and exceptional quality?
Lights that give you more. What’s not to love?
