Broadway American Collection STEPHEN - Table Lamp with Tiffany Glass

Arts and crafts style table lamp 'Stephen' a geometric pattern of gold, amber and honey tones with earthy green highlights. A squared lamp shade sits above a vintage bronzed metal lamp base. This type of light often yet incorrectly called Tiffany is actually a homage to Frank Lloyd Wright. 'Tiffany', is the traditional generic name this handcrafted glasswork has become known as. It reflects the time honoured techniques of seaming together of art glass. Flux is mixed with copper to make solder which fuses together the glass panels, the solder is then bronzed to protect and enhance. Truly beautiful sure to be antiques of the 21st century.
